CHI Formatting Instructions
CHI uses two different formats for most submissions: HCI Archive and Extended Abstract.
HCI Archive Format

These templates should be used for submitting CHI Papers and CHI Notes. Please see the Extended Abstract Format (below) for other submission types.
- Microsoft Word Template (.doc, 2.5 MB)
- LaTeX files (.zip, 1.0 MB)
Note: The LaTeX templates are unsupported. They may not be available in future years.
ACM Classification Keywords: The category H.5 applies to information interfaces and presentation. The full list of categories for classifying work with a computing component can be found at www.acm.org/about/class/1998
Make submissions via the PCS Submission System. Please see PCS Submission Instructions for details.
Extended Abstract Format
These template should be used for submitting workshops, courses, case studies, doctoral consortium, panels, interactivity, SIGs, works-in-progress, alt.chi, and the student competitions. Please see the HCI Archive Format (above) for submitting CHI Papers and CHI Notes.
